TurtleSeg was originally developed at the Medical Image Analysis Lab (MIAL) at Simon Fraser University and the Biomedical Signal and Image Computing Laboratory (BiSICL) at the University of British Columbia (by Prof. Ghassan Hamarneh, Prof. Rafeef Abugharbieh, and M.Sc. student Andrew Top). Named after the 3D Turtlemap algorithm, TurtleSeg provides accurate 3D image segmentation from minimal and intuitive user input. A fast workflow is enabled by the automatic active-learning Spotlight recommendation technology. For more information, please consult our support pages.
